Not sure what it is I’ve done that won’t keep the gaming running for more than 1 minute before crashing back to Home Screen, and one time restarting the whole deck on its own. Graphics settings on Cemu: Aspect ratio - 16:10 Res - 1280x800 Anti-Aliasing - Normal Shadows - both low. FPS++ is set to 45fps limit. API set to Vulkan.
Yes the wiiu emulator is much more mature and has more graphical options. With a good pc you could play BotW in 4k. Wii U easier to run. My quick take: yes CEMU is more mature but it also happens to just run better on the deck compared to YUZU. Yuzu is also harder to use than Cemu, with the latter working off just the game files whereas some titlekey shenanigans is required with Yuzu. The main problem is not Steam Deck's lack of power. The Switch is specifically constructed. The very details in the Firmware, OS etc the Switch use, are closed source. So, it is very hard to make a perfect emulator. So, even with the best Computer Hadrware, there are possibilities, that some Switch games will lag.
