The VTM-4 light would almost always come on after driving between 100 feet and a mile. Just adding here, what worked for me, finally. Scan showed 23-01 knock sensor fail (among other things) I changed the VTM-4 fluid, and replaced the VTM-4 oil temp sensor. No change.

It was not replaced with a Honda Alternator as I was told those were on backorder and they had no idea when they would be in. Got the car back all seemed good. 8 days later I leave for work and the battery and vtm-4 light come on. Take it back to the dealer later that day and of course the lights are off by then and they find nothing wrong.
