I just changed my gear oil in the front and the fluid capacities I've seen posted says 4 pints (2 quarts), but that much won't fit in. At about a 1.3 qts it starts flowing out the fill hole.Torque nut to 20-26 ft. lbs. (27-35 N.m). Note: Before installation, soak piston felt oilers in SAE 30 engine oil and lubricate "O" rings with a high-viscosity silicone oil or barium grease "O" ring lubricant. Place "O" ring on body cover. Minimum spec is 80W-90, which I think is usually semi-synthetic. Or you could use 75W-90 full synthetic. Just make sure it says GL-5 differential oil on the bottle, since a lot of these viscosities overlap with transmission oils that are GL-4 spec on the package. So in short: GL-5 = differential oil, GL-4 = (manual) transmission oil.
